What growers tell each other

The question that matters most is rarely in any brochure: has anyone nearby actually tried it? These are endorsements from growers who already have.

We've used BioCoat gold seed treatment the past two seasons for some of our direct seed crops (corn and cucumbers). It's been a good material to work with and easily integrates with our planter set up. It's low cost and good way to ensure some biology on the seed right at the time of planting to give it the best start possible.

I’ve always had challenges with my pink grapefruit trees, while my other citrus thrived. After one application of Sustainable Growing Solutions’ MetaGrowF I saw amazing results within weeks. My grapefruit trees now have strong, vibrant green new growth and look fantastic, finally! Highly recommend exploring their products for citrus trees."

We have used the on seed version as we are not set up for in furrow. Just like to plant and GO in the spring. What we have noticed is that every corn seed we plant has access to the nitrogen. 2024 we had heavy rains and at least we know the proven 40 money we spent got into our corn crop- can’t say that about our NH3 this past year. Its takes the Epps and flows of different soil types etc and makes the field variability’s even out. Thats what we have seen. Low areas split planter very noticeable. If I had to design a perfect N it would be on the roots, slow feed the corn, didn’t lose it- and that is what this product is. No brainer to incorporate it into our plan. We dont apply a sidedress so this helps. Good way to diversify our N program. Shift the risk.

Great biological product! I have used it on several thousand acres over a couple of years and in several different cropping systems. All applications were in furrow at planting and I have been happy with the results. The photo I attached is a side-by-side treatment with and without it at planting during a very dry spring.

Pinion is easy to use and apply, stores well, and smells great. I'm still working on confirming results regarding if it's the primary factor in helping some native bushes bounce back from leaf spot, and if it'll help deter aphids at all, but can confirm the usability of the product is great.

I have helped many growers and agronomists implement MetaGrow products in organic and regenerative programs. They have found it easy to tank mix and apply, economical at a low cost per acre, and effective at improving soil quality and crop production. The species diversity and population counts are incredible.

I used BCG on a few crops this year, and had impressive results, especially with our potatoes. We were really dry at the beginning of the year, but once we had some moisture, everything shot out of the ground and took off running. Robust root systems. Easy to use and apply, great results and all for a good price.

We use Source across soybeans, wheat, corn, and sugarbeets, and the results speak for themselves. With Source DC on soybeans, we saw stronger plants and gained three bushels. With wheat and corn, we maintained yields while cutting back on nitrogen—proof that Source delivers without compromising performance. Bigger root mass, better nutrient uptake, and healthier crops all around. And the sugarbeets? My word, the sugarbeets. The returns from those fields will knock your socks off. When used properly, Source delivers. The guys who don’t see results are usually the ones blowing fertility out the wazoo. But if you dial in your fertility plan, Source will take it from there. Easy to apply, low risk, and solid ROI. With rising fertilizer costs and tighter regulations in the pipeline, Source isn’t just an option—it’s the smart choice for the future. Highly recommend giving it a shot. *Full disclosure: we’re also a Source supplier, but we wouldn’t stand behind it if we didn’t see the results firsthand on our own farm.

We use MetaGrowC as a soil reset and foliar reset when pest and disease pressure is increased from weather extremes. Along with MetaGrowF and MetaGrowST, this product is a successful component in our orchard health program. Great results in strengthening tree root resistance to pests.

We've been using Pivot Bio PROVEN40 for six years, starting with a trial in 2020. The results were clear—thicker stalks, more root mass, healthier green plants all the way into harvest, and a consistent yield advantage of 4-10 bushels per acre. For best results, it’s important to cut back starter N fertilizer (we use liquid) by 40 lbs/acre—and the fact that we can do this while still seeing strong ROI and yield benefits is a big deal. Take a look at the photos attached—the treated plants are on the left, and the untreated are on the right. The difference PROVEN40 makes is obvious! Stronger, healthier plants that stand out all season long. In the video, you’ll see Levi showing just how green and healthy our plants looked at harvest, even after a freeze the night before. The ears are also still upright, these plants were still very much alive and thriving when we harvested. That’s the kind of resilience and performance PROVEN40 delivers. On our farm, every product we apply has to prove its worth through rigorous trials and testing. PROVEN40 has done just that, earning its place on every acre of our corn. It’s a game-changer for efficiency, sustainability, and profitability.

If you haven’t used SP-1 and AmplAphex you have to give it a try. We have personally trialed these products and not only had a great ROI (Yield increase)but we also had better plant health and standablity at harvest time. We ran 20 to 40 acres test trials across multiple acres cross different fields. The trials have been very consistent. I have nothing to gain by making the above comment guys. This product works trust me you won’t be disappointed.

I trialed Pinion on pumpkins late in the 2025 season under heavy powdery mildew pressure. At that stage, the crop was already declining, so I wasn’t expecting much response. The photos show progression from the day of application to 4 days and 11 days after treatment. While Pinion didn’t completely stop the infection, it significantly slowed disease progression—far exceeding expectations for that point in the season. What stood out most was how quickly it acted. Within 4 hours of application, the mildew shifted from a fluffy, white appearance to a grey, flattened state—an early indication of impact. I’m looking forward to applying Pinion earlier in the 2026 season, ahead of infection, to fully evaluate its preventative potential.

We built AgList because we were tired of guessing.

Finding the right fit for our farm, something that actually works, is way harder than it should be.

We’ve spent countless hours researching, calling reps, and asking around, only to end up with more questions than answers. Does this product really work? Has anyone nearby tried it? Can I trust the company’s claims?

The missing piece? Real feedback from other growers who’ve already been there, done that.

Happy farming!
